I mentioned briefly that my DH has a herniated disk in his back that is pressing on his sciatic nerve. It is causing him a great deal of pain. Unfortunately the tests haven't been clear as to exactly where the problem is. So the sent him for another test yesterday where they injected iodine dye into his spine. He is allergic to iodine. They pretreated him but obviously not aggressively enough. He had a reaction and is still in the hospital. He has had such a hard year, I hope his luck changes soon.

Wow, that must be scary. I'm so glad I'm not allergic to anything like that. Just normal stuff like ragweed and junipers.
I hope your dh can come home soon.
